The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) is preparing to facilitate the return of Indian nationals to India from Iran amid the evolving situation in the country, according to sources.

"In view of recent developments, Indian nationals are advised to avoid non-essential travel to the Islamic Republic of Iran until further notice," the MEA stated in an advisory on Monday.
