A goods train derailed in Telangana's Peddapalli district, leading to the cancellation of 37 trains, officials of South Railway (SCR) said on Wednesday.
According to Dilip Singh, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) South East Central Railway, no reports of any fatality or major injuries were reported in the incident.
According to Bokaro RPF, two wagons of a goods train derailed and overturned while crossing between Tupkadih and Rajabera sections on Thursday morning.
Railway Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Bhopal Division, Naval Agarwal said, "Three wagons of a goods train going from Bhopal to Itarsi, derailed between Misrod and Mandideep railway stations. Restoration work is underway, and the team is present on site."
The train was coming from Indore and was heading towards Jabalpur Railway Station's platform number six. The incident happened at around 150 metres from the platform.
