Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath's statement follows an incident in Kanpur where the Kalindi Express avoided a major tragedy after a damaged LPG cylinder, along with several objectionable materials, was found near the railway track.
The train was coming from Indore and was heading towards Jabalpur Railway Station's platform number six. The incident happened at around 150 metres from the platform.
Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Rakesh Verma assessed the derailment site of the Sabarmati Express (Varanasi to Ahmedabad, train number 19168, in Kanpur Uttar Pradesh on Saturday morning.
