Australia's Minister for Trade and Tourism Don Farrell, who is accompanying Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on an official visit here in New Delhi, said that the two countries "can achieve" this target.
Addressing the India-Australia CEO forum in Mumbai on Thursday, Albanese expressed his sincere appreciation for the large turnout of Australian investors that came to India as well as for the key Indian business houses that participated in the event.
Former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott on Monday called on Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and discussed means to further strengthen the trade between the southern country and the state.
"FTA can and must deliver practical, real-world benefits for businesses in both of our countries. It will also send a strong signal to the whole world that our two great countries are committed to building even closer partnerships with each other," Cleverly said.

According to Goel, Germany is the most important partner for India if we look at India's own requirements, whether it is arms and ammunition, technology, or investment.

Albanese is set to arrive in India this March to lock the India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA) deal and upgrade the relationship between the two countries.
"During the COVID period, we responded using financially sustainable measures. In fact, a lot of reforms were carried out under the pandemic stress. There was a lot of creativity which also was implemented on the field at large scale, because of the COVID pressures," S Jaishankar said.
