As Bhutan gears to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the people of the Himalayan nation are equally pumped to accord a warm welcome to him, saying they are very excited to host him.
Thailand Ambassador to India, Pattarat Hongtong, has thanked the Indian government for the exposition of sacred relics of Lord Buddha in Thailand, and said that this would attract more Thai people to visit India and reconnect with their roots.
" Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay a State visit to Bhutan from 21-22 March 2024. The visit is in keeping with the tradition of regular high-level exchanges between India and Bhutan and the Government's emphasis on its Neighbourhood First Policy," ministry said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat on Tuesday and will flag off 10 new Vande Bharat trains, including a train between Ahmedabad and Mumbai Central.
