Delhi metro services will commence at 4 am on August 15 in order to facilitate the public to attend the Independence Day ceremony on Thursday. The metro will become active on all its Lines from all terminal stations.
"There are around 3.5 lakh Rakhis here from every house. The Tiranga rally was also a beautiful event ahead of Independence Day. I want to extend my greetings of Rakshabandhan to all the sisters. The unique blend of both celebrations was witnessed here in Mandla today," said CM Yadav.

In the view of upcoming Independence Day, District Administration Anantnag in collaboration with Municipal Committee Dooru Anantnag, Jammu Kashmir Police, local schools, and CRPF held the longest Tiranga Rally to date in South Kashmir under the "Meri Maati Mera Desh" campaign.
As the 77th Independence Day celebrations are around the corner, thousands of people on Saturday participated in the 'Meri Maati, Mera Desh' Tiranga Rally in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama.
