Delhi's Patiala House court on Friday reserved order on the police custody of Anwar Khan alias Chacha, Hasim Baba alias Asim, Sameer alias Baba, and Zoya Khan in a MCOCA case.
However, due to the young age of the deceased and the need to rule out any unnatural causes, the police went ahead with a post-mortem at Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospital.
A case has been registered against Jitendra Awhad for allegedly obstructing the work of the police, Mumbai police said on Friday. The development followed a scuffle between BJP and NCP (SCP) workers at the Maharashtra Vidhan Bhavan on Thursday evening.
According to the police, a PCR call was received on July 13 from the Hospital, reporting the death of Karan Dev, a resident of Om Vihar, Phase 1A. He was brought to the hospital following an alleged electrocution incident and was declared dead on arrival.
