Following the police crackdown on Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) supporters during a sit-in at D-Chowk in Islamabad, the district administration allowed the party to hold a sit-in on Murree Road for two or three days after holding negotiations, reported ARY News.
Dr Sandeep Singh Garg, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohali, said, "The police have arrested 3 members of a gang involved in robbery. This gang was involved in incidents of robbery and theft at various places in the district."
