The Delhi Police have registered a case against the alleged accused for splashing liquid on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal during his rally in South Delhi's Greater Kailash area on Saturday, according to the police.
According to police, the AAP Chief was shaking hands with the public when a bus marshal, identified as Ashok Jha, attempted to throw "water" at him. The police immediately apprehended the individual at the scene.
The police tracked down the accused after an exhaustive investigation, which included the analysis of footage from over 500 CCTV cameras, electronic surveillance, and technical evidence.
The Surat Police said that the police had found fake a Aadhaar card, a PAN card, a Bangladesh national ID card, a Bangladeshi Nikah card and many other documents from the accused.
