In a joint operation, the troops of the Indian Army and J-K Police foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Krishnaghati Sector, Poonch, on the intervening night of June 14-25, an official statement said on Thursday.
It sought "Directions to be passed to the Indian Army to take full control of the law and order and public order situation in the districts of Churachanpur, Chandel, Kangpokpi, Imphal East, and Imphal West."
