As per a release by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the departure operations will begin with hatch closing at 4:30 am EDT or 2:00 PM IST on Monday, with the crew entering the spacecraft at 4:55 am EDT or 2:25 PM IST, followed by hatch closing.
The incident reportedly occurred during the flight duration. The passenger, in an inebriated state, behaved inappropriately with a member of the cabin crew. Upon landing at Jaipur International Airport, the crew immediately reported the matter to airport security.
"The crew of flight AI639 operating from Mumbai to Chennai on Friday made a precautionary air-return to Mumbai due to a burning smell in the cabin," an Air India spokesperson said.

The crew will arrive in Goa on May 29, marking the culmination of their eight-month journey across four continents, three oceans, and three Great Capes. This extraordinary sailing expedition was flagged off from Naval Ocean Sailing Node, Goa, on Oct 2, 2024.
