Union Minister and West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar on Sunday lashed out at Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over the recent violence in Murshidabad district, saying that strict action would be taken against the perpetrators if the BJP forms the government in the state.
Congress MP Imran Pratapgarhi criticised Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu for supporting the BJP, calling it a betrayal. Speaking at a national meet on communal harmony, he reiterated his party's message of unity and love over division and hatred.

TN BJP President Nainar Nagendran said the DMK will be "thrown out" in 2026 and expressed confidence that the NDA alliance will form the government. He described the BJP-AIADMK alliance as strong and natural, with growing momentum.
