Joint forces of Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Indian Army have busted a terrorist module at Uri in Baramulla district of the union territory, arresting three people and recovering from them arms and ammunition, said authorities.
Noticing the presence of the CTD team, the terrorists opened fire and in an exchange of fire three of them were shot dead, while two policemen were also injured.
One terrorist was shot dead and the other was injured as infiltration bid was foiled in Poonch sector. Security forces recovered arms and ammunition from the terrorist killed along the Line of Control (LoC) here on Monday.

According to officials, the contact was established by ambush in Garhi Battalion, Poonch, around 02:00 am. Two individuals were observed moving across the LoC in the general area of Degwar Terva.
In a joint operation, the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police foiled an infiltration bid and killed a terrorist along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Amrohi area of Tangdhar Sector on Sunday, said the police.
"One terrorist confirmed killed. Firefight still on. Rashtriya Rifles troops of the Indian Army and Special Forces have closed on to other terrorists. Search for other terrorists are in progress," an official said.
