In a significant joint operation, the Jammu and Kashmir Police along with 28 Rashtriya Rifles apprehended two terrorist associates affiliated with the Laskar-e-Taiba in Kupwara. The operation led to the recovery of five hand grenades of Pakistan and China origin from the suspects.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police, in collaboration with security forces, apprehended three terrorist associates linked to the banned terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in the Budgam district.
Two terrorist associates linked to proscribed Pakistan-based outfit, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), were arrested at a bus stop in Kreeri village of Baramulla district, officials informed through a statement on Tuesday.
"They were also involved in facilitating the movement of terrorists, providing them with transport facilities, and engaging in anti-national activities that pose a threat to the region's security," police said.
The State Investigation Unit -II, Srinagar on Thursday filed a charge sheet before the NIA Court Srinagar in a case pertaining to the recovery of arms and ammunition at Tri-junction Narbal national highway on 20th November 2022.
Jammu and Kashmir police on Tuesday in a joint operation with security forces arrested two terror associates linked with proscribed terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in Shopian.
"Based on a tip-off, Joint forces of Baramulla Police, Army 29 RR and 2 Bn SSB have busted a terror module at Baramulla Pattan and arrested two terrorist associates of LeT outfit," informed the release.
Kashmir Police, alongwith security forces on Saturday, arrested two persons linked with the proscribed terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in the Sumlar area of Bandipora and recovered incriminating materials and two Chinese grenades from their possession.
