Maulana Abdul Aziz, cleric of Lal Masjid, along with four others has been booked over terrorism charges after they opened fire on police in the country's capital, Islamabad, The Express Tribune reported.
Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra on Friday addressed a special briefing on PM Modi's US visit during which he expanded on what sorts of discussions between the two leaders were held regarding cross-border terrorism.

While addressing a conference, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) Vladimir Voronkov said that Afghanistan has again become a haven for terrorists, Khaama Press reported.
"India is really working hard to fight terrorism. And we can see it back home and every place else. There are very few people who are kind to us," Dhaliwal said as he was heading to the 9/11 Memorial.
