"Visited the fire site at Bhagirath Palace, Chandni Chowk, where the cooling process is yet on. With hanging wires, overloaded circuits, old buildings, water shortage & narrow lanes, such areas are dangerously prone to blazes," tweeted LG VK Saxena.
According to Delhi Fire Service Director Atul Garg, several fire tenders are on the spot which are trying to douse the fire. No casualty has been reported so far.
The main building, which caught fire in Chandini Chowk, is collapsing slowly as two floors are completely damaged, former Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan, who visited the incident site said.
Four engines of the fire brigade were rushed to the spot after the company executives informed the police about the incident. Some civilians were shifted to a safe place.

The fire broke out in the slums of Bagracote area of the city. Six fire tenders rushed to the spot to put the fire under control. A firefighter was injured during the operation. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
