Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday trained her guns at the ruling BRS in the election-bound Telangana, saying corruption was rampant in the state under the incumbent regime headed by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
In a run-up to the assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hit out at the Congress party and the ruling Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi while addressing a public rally at Mahabubabad in Telangana on Monday.
The poll body, in a notification, said that there shall be no disbursement under the scheme till the model code of conduct in the state of Telangana ceases to apply in all its forms.
"People in Telangana have now decided that enough is enough and so they have decided to change the government. This is because people in Telangana have felt cheated. The emotion with which Telangana was formed has been insulted," Javadekar said.

Ahead of Telangana polls, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday launched a scathing attack on the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government and alleged it of mired in corruption in the last 10 years. Home Minister Amit Shah appealed to the voters to vote after evaluating performance.
All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi has alleged that "RSS people have come from Delhi and are working for the Congress" in Telangana.
