The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) requested the Election Commission to take stringent action against Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and his henchmen to ensure a fair and free polling process in Munugode bypolls.
Slamming Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for leveling charges against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in alleged cash for the defection of MLA case, NV Subhash, official spokesperson of state BJP described the comment as " a lamp will blow more before it goes off".
"KCR knows that the Munugode assembly bypoll is going to be a setback for the party (TRS) and hence all of this has been plotted. I came here and took an oath. I am asking Chief Minister KCR, can he do the same?" said Sanjay.
Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party has demanded the Election Commission to deploy central forces at polling booths in the Munugode assembly constituency by-election.
"There is a possibility of the BJP candidate Rajgopal Reddy's win in the Munugodu by-election. BJP is gaining ground. The TRS has fabricated this issue to stop us. The case is entirely false. I have approached the High Court seeking a CBI probe into the matter."
