With only months remaining for the Assembly elections in Telangana, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Bandi Sanjay on Tuesday stepped down from the post of state party president.
Ahead of assembly elections in Telangana at the year-end, the Election Commission of India delegation will visit the state for a three-day assessment of poll preparedness.
Speaking with ANI, the Congress leader said that the scenes of Karnataka will be repeated in Telangana and the party will come to power with a clear majority.
Telangana Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao on Friday said that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi will go for the Assembly elections as per the schedule and asked the party workers to conduct padayatra across the state.
With an aim to gain a foothold in the southern state of Telangana, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has formulated a road map to take on Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao's Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in the assembly polls that are scheduled to be held later this year.
Telangana will go into elections end of 2023 and the BJP considers itself as a huge prospect to bring about change from the ruling K Chandrashekhar Rao-led BRs government.
