Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Thursday assured the Delhi High Court that he will join the CBI investigation on March 25 for questioning in connection with the land-for-jobs scam case.
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday moved Delhi High Court seeking direction to quash three summons issued by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for questioning in connection with the land-for-job scam case.
"It is creating an impression among the public, that these investigations are being carried out with the mindset of revenge, aiming for electoral gains," VIP chief Mukesh Sahni said.
While coming down heavily on Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, Modi said that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has "strong" evidence against the former's family.
Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches at 24 locations at various places in Delhi NCR, Patna, Mumbai and Ranchi in the Railways land-for-job scams.
"...This happened in 2017. Then we (JDU-RJD) went our separate ways...five years went by and when we came together, raids occurred again. What can I say?..."
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday conducted raids against many relatives of former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad at multiple locations across Delhi, the National Capital Region (NCR) and Bihar in the alleged land-for-jobs scam.
