An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday approved Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi's physical remand for nine days in eight cases pertaining to the May 9, 2023 riots.
The Islamabad High Court overruled an administrative objection to a petition filed by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) against Capital Development Authority's (CDA) raid on its party head office, reported Dawn.
Currently, Qureshi is imprisoned in Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail in multiple cases. Furthermore, a special court established under the Official Secrets Act earlier handed Qureshi 10 years in prison in the cipher case.
