Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday expressed his condolences by writing a letter to the new Chairman of Tata Trust, Noel Tata, on the demise of late Ratan Tata, a veteran industrialist and Chairman of Tata.
The Tata Trusts, in an official statement, confirmed the appointment of Noel Naval Tata as its news chairman after the demise of Ratan N. Tata, who served as esteemed chairman of Tata Group for decades and Chairman of the trust.
Noel Tata, the son of Naval Tata and Simone Tata, now steps into this pivotal role at a time of great change within the Tata Group and its associated trusts.
"We will request the members of the public to enter NCPA Lawns from Gate 3 and the exit will be at Gate 2. There will be no parking available at the premises," a statement by Tata Trust said.
Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Ratan Tata, describing it as a "sad day for India and India Inc." Ambani remembered Tata as a visionary industrialist, philanthropist, and dear friend.
