The Tarn Taran police yet again foiled another narcotics smuggling attempt and recovered 2 kgs of heroin. Two smugglers were arrested after a chase of 40 Kms on the Indo-Pak border.
According to Punjab DGP, in a major breakthrough against trans-border narcotic smuggling networks, Tarn Taran Police in a joint operation with BSF has arrested one person and recovered 2.472 Kg of Heroin from his possession.
Tarn Taran Police in a joint operation with Border Security Force (BSF) recovered 6.44 kg of heroin, dropped from a Pakistani drone in Wan village of Tarn Taran district on Saturday.
The DGP further informed that the Tarn Taran Police, during its joint search operation with the BSF, recovered a Hexacopter drone which contained 5 kgs of heroin.
