Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Sunday said that the Delhi government rolling out 1,000 GPS-enabled water tankers to finish the tanker mafia in the city.
"Today, 1,111 tankers are being sent, they are GPS-enabled so that they can be tracked. The routes of every tanker can be recorded. People will be able to monitor the location with the help of the tanker app," Gupta told reporters here.
As per sources, the tankers will be flagged off from Nirankari Ground in Burari, aiming to bring transparency, timely delivery, and accountability to water distribution across the city.
