DMK MP A Raja on Saturday strongly reacted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks on language, accusing him of attempting to create divisions in the country. Speaking in Tamil, Raja questioned the PM's stance and asserted that it is the BJP that is fostering division.
Amid a row over the implementation of the three-language policy between Tamil Nadu and the Centre, Janata Dal (United) leader Neeraj Kumar slammed CM MK Stalin and adviced that he should work for progress of language and not political mileage.
"Nobody is taking away Tamil from Tamil Nadu. Why is CM Stalin so anti-national? He is teaching this divisive ideology to the students of the state. It is the CM only who is politicizing the matter," Reddy said.
