The Taliban stated it does not expect a war with Pakistan, blaming tensions on external influence or false expectations of control. It called TTP a Pakistan internal issue and urged dialogue, stressing it fought its war independently without foreign support.
Taliban Spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid said that though Afghanistan is committed to peaceful resolution, the current incidents are due to acts of aggression by Pakistan.
Ahead of the UN-led meeting in Doha on Afghanistan, Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid has said that domestic issues of Afghanistan will not be discussed, asserting that domestic issues of the nation are not of the United Nations in any way.
As Pakistan forcefully expelled Afghan refugees, Taliban spokesperson Zabiullah Mujahid said that this move will increase the mistrust of the Afghans toward Pakistan, TOLO News reported.
Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid has called on countries hosting Afghan refugees to not forcefully deport them as the migrants do not have any preparation for it yet. Mujahid also called for tolerance based on Islamic and neighbourly manners, TOLO News reported.
Following the United States (US) Department of State's latest report on Human Trafficking in Afghanistan, Taliban's spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said that human trafficking is done beyond the borders and "preventing it is not our responsibility," Khaama Press reported.
Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said that the decision has been taken to assure Pakistan that refugees are not involved in attacks against the Pakistani government.
At least two Iranian border guards and one Taliban security force have been killed after clashes between Taliban and Iranian forces at the border crossing point, according to a Taliban spokesperson and Iranian state media on Saturday, Afghanistan-based Khaama Press reported.
"Pressure, imposition of pressure and threats, these methods should be put aside, and they should engage with the Islamic Emirate so that the Islamic Emirate can take responsible actions regarding some issues, some laws and other issues in the world," Mujahid said, as quoted by TOLO News rep
"The countries that failed in Afghanistan, and the countries that shamefully left, they did not normalize their interactions and are preventing the Taliban from having good interactions with other nations," Mujahid said, as quoted by Tolo News.
