Taiwan Ministry of National Defence (MND) said on Thursday that it tracked 23 Chinese military aircraft and five naval vessels around Taiwan between 6 am on Wednesday and 6 am on Thursday, Taiwan News reported.
According to Taiwan's MND, one of the seven Chinese military aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered Taiwan's Southwest Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ).
In response to Chinese action, Taiwan monitored the situation and deployed combat patrol aircraft, naval vessels and coastal missile systems, according to Taiwan's MND.
According to Taiwan MND, a total of 12 Chinese military aircraft were spotted crossing the median line of the Taiwan Strait from 6 am (local time) on Saturday to 6 am (local time).
According to official statements, 10 People's Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft and 6 People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) vessels were detected as of 6 am (local time) today.
Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence (MND) said it detected seven naval vessels and two Chinese military aircraft around the country between 6 am (local time) on Tuesday to 6 am (local time) on Wednesday.
Among the 16 People's Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft, 12 crossed the Taiwan Strait media line and entered the southwest corner of the country's air defence identification zone (ADIZ), according to Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence.
