Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Dimple Yadav on Thursday asserted that the entire opposition is united against the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) report on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024, which was tabled in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday.
Earlier today, a major ruckus erupted in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha when the JPC report on the Waqf Amendment Bill was to be tabled. The Lower House was adjourned till 2 pm on Thursday amid opposition sloganeering against the report.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Medha Vishram Kulkarni presented the report. She also tabled a copy of the record of evidence given before the panel on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024.
