The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) issued a notice to the Delhi police on Sunday after it received a complaint regarding the sale of objectionable pictures of Hindu gods and goddesses.
Maliwal, in her letter, requested immediate access for the survivor to medical, psychological, and rehabilitative care to aid her recovery and financial assistance of at least Rs 50 lakh to the survivor's family for recovery and rehabilitation, said the official statement.
DCW Chairperson apprised the Australian High Commissioner of the work of the Commission and various programs being run by the Commission for the safety and welfare of women and girls in the Capital.
