The development comes at a time when Maliwal, who is the Aam Aadmi Party's Rajya Sabha MP alleged on Friday that the CCTV cameras installed at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's residence were being tampered with.
Taking to the microblogging site X on Friday evening, Swati Maliwal, the former chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) said, "I have received information that now these people are tampering with the CCTV of the house."

NCW chief Rekha Sharma on Friday said that they have been in contact with Swati Maliwal since the assault incident happened at the residence of Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal and that NCW has asked for an Action Taken Report from the police.
Launching a scathing attack on the Delhi Chief Minister over AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal's alleged assault, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma asked, "Why is Kejriwal still roaming with Bibhav Kumar and not taking action against him?"
BJP leader Radhika Khera lashed out at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over the alleged assault on AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal by the personal assistant to the CM and asked whether Kejriwal got bail so that these kinds of incidents could be carried out at his residence.
"Swati Maliwal is a strong and aware woman, I am confident that she will come forward and take the legal route and fight for justice," Lamba posted on X.
"It is clear that efforts are being made to whitewash the matter. Swati Maliwal is being silenced due to political pressure and all efforts are made to cover the case," alleged Sachdeva.
