Expressing condolence to the victims in the tragic train accident in Odisha, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has demanded a high-level inquiry into the Odisha train accident.
Recalling the nervous minutes leading up to the derailment of coaches, the survivor said, "Within a span of 30-40 seconds we see so many people injured, dead and cries of help everywhere. Such a situation brings out the scariest part of you."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that directions have been given to probe the train accident in Odisha's Balasore which killed over 260 passengers, and that whoever is found guilty will not be spared.
PM Modi flew down to the crash site in an IAF chopper at Bahanaga Bazar Station in Balasore district and was briefed by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw about the train mishap, which has claimed the lives of over 261 people.
