Congress MP Randeep Singh Surjewala submitted a notice in the Rajya Sabha under Rule 267, seeking the suspension of the House's scheduled business on August 12 to discuss what he describes as serious concerns over 'the integrity of India's electoral processes'.
Congress MP Randeep Surjewala, along with other INDIA bloc MPs, including Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, was detained by Delhi Police for protesting against the Election Commission on Monday.
"When confronted with evidence of mass manipulation of voter rolls, the Election Commission seeks to hide the "Voter Fraud" with its lame duck excuses, puerile legalese and fake technicalities. No wonder that it is now named as "Election Capture of India" - ECI," Surjewala posted on X.
