A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team visited Rajbari area of Sandeshkhali on Thursday to probe land grabbing allegations against Trinamool Congress leader Sheikh Shahjahan.

The Supreme Court on Thursday criticised a Calcutta High Court judgement of December last year which stated that adolescent girls must control their sexual urges instead of giving in to two minutes of pleasure.
The Supreme Court on Friday said that some parts of Calcutta High Court judgment that stated that adolescent girls must control their sexual urges instead of giving in to two minutes of pleasure "were highly objectionable and completely unwarranted".
A bench of justices Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud and also comprising justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra said that the contours of the investigation cannot be anticipated or restricted at this stage.
"The injured in the Dinhata violence are being shifted to PK Shah Hospital in Coochbehar under the instruction of West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose," said an official.
