The Supreme Court on Thursday declined an urgent hearing of an appeal against the Delhi High Court order which dismissed a plea challenging RBI's decision permitting citizens to exchange Rs 2,000 banknotes, which are being pulled out of circulation, without any requisition slip and ID proof.
According to a statement issued by the President's Office, the President authenticated the bill as per Article 61 (2) (3) (4) and Article 66 of the Constitution of Nepal and in accordance with the principle propounded by the Supreme Court after receiving a letter from the Office of the Prime

Taking to Twitter, the Delhi CM stated, "Will be meeting Tamil Nadu CM Thiru @mkstalin in Chennai tomorrow (1st June) to seek DMK's support against Centre's unconstitutional-undemocratic 'Anti-Delhi' Ordinance".
The development came after the Supreme Court on May 19 ordered directing Lt Governor of Delhi to act on the aid and advice of the council of ministers and to appoint a DERC chairperson within two weeks.
