West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar on Friday said that a proper investigation should be conducted by Enforcement Directorate adding that the central agency is unable to locate TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee 's bank accounts.
Majumdar also said that weapons and explosives have been recovered by the central agencies at various places in the State, and it showed the "level of crime, corruption and violence that exists within the state."
"It is a natural thing. Mamata Banerjee and all the opposition are following one formula which is 'kusti in Bengal, dosti in Delhi and masti in rest of India. So in Mumbai, they are going for Masti, let them do the Masti,"
The BJP's West Bengal president, Sukanta Majumdar, alleged that suspected agents of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Pakistan's spy agency, were not only staying in the state but also using it as a base for their anti-national activities.
"The Bag committee report stated that the total amount accrued in the West Bengal teachers' recruitment scam was Rupees 1200 crore. The Chandrayaan-3 mission cost only half of it," Sukanta Majumdar said.
