West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar said he would attempt to visit Mothabari to meet the victims of the recent violence. He criticized the heavy police deployment, stating that he was even willing to meet victims at a police station if necessary.
Following the violence between two groups in Mothabari area of West Bengal's Malda district, Additional Director General (ADG) Law and Order Jawed Shamim said that the situation was completely under control and 61 people were arrested.
