The accused student, identified as Armaan Iqbal Khatri, has been arrested on the basis of a suicide note recovered from the hostel room of the deceased, Darshan Solanki, in which he blamed Armaan for him taking the extreme step of ending his life.
Irked with her husband for not bringing chocolate, a 30-year-old woman allegedly died by hanging herself at Honnappa Layout near Hennur Bande on Thursday afternoon, said the police.
According to the Mumbai police officials, "The handwriting expert said in his report that the suicide note recovered by the police is written by Darshan Solanki. The expert sent the report to the police on Thursday night."
According to the police, the accused was arrested from a flat in Charmes Castle Society of Ghaziabad on Thursday night. Later, he was taken to the Ghaziabad Nandgram for medical examination.
