"Sohrab was found hanging from the ceiling fan with a nylon rope. Ayesha was found lying dead on the bed. There are some ligature marks on her neck," said DCP (North East) Joy Tirkey.

A 23-year-old Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) student from Odisha, allegedly battling depression, died by suicide at the college campus here in Telangana's Sangareddy district, police informed on Tuesday.

The accused student, identified as Armaan Iqbal Khatri, has been arrested on the basis of a suicide note recovered from the hostel room of the deceased, Darshan Solanki, in which he blamed Armaan for him taking the extreme step of ending his life.
According to the Mumbai police officials, "The handwriting expert said in his report that the suicide note recovered by the police is written by Darshan Solanki. The expert sent the report to the police on Thursday night."
