This comes a day after Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis directed the Director General of Police (DGP) to form an SIT to probe the Satara-Phaltan doctor suicide case.
According to sources, the SIT will be formed under the leadership of a woman IPS officer to investigate the alleged suicide of a doctor based in Satara's Phaltan.

A woman doctor died by suicide in Maharashtra's Satara on Friday, leaving a note written on her hand that named a police official and two others, officials said.
