A massive clash erupted between two groups over the installation of 'toran dwar' (entry gate) in front of a Mosque on the occasion of Mahashivratri in Jharkhand's Palamu, a police official said on Wednesday.

Unidentified people pelted stones at the house of the Union minister's residence in Ulloor in Thiruvananthapuram, breaking a glass window pane, police said on Thursday.
A group of locals of Begusarai pelted stones and attacked a police station on Saturday evening, over the death of a youth who was murdered a few days back in the area, informed police officials.
