Congress MP Pramod Tiwari on Friday reiterated his party's support to the Centre for its steps aimed at fighting terrorism. He added that India will get the support of the countries which are suffering from the menace of terrorism.
Communist Party of India (Marxist) MP John Brittas on Thursday expressed support for the government's actions against terrorism, stating that all political parties back the armed forces' efforts. However, he also emphasised the need for caution to avoid escalating the situation.
A comprehensive civil defence mock drill will be conducted at Desun Hospital in Kolkata on Thursday. The mock drills were also conducted in Chandigarh this evening.
