Karnataka Minister Eshwar Khandre on Tuesday said that the purpose of the socio-economic and educational survey being conducted in the State is to understand the socio-economic conditions of all communities, enabling the government to ensure social justice for all.

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Tuesday said that the Indian government is in contact with the United States across various levels regarding the proposed Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA), adding that there is strong possibility for the agreement to take shape.
