The Uttarakhand State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has rescued all the students who were trapped in the Kasturba Inter College in the Uttarkashi district due to heavy debris, said officials.
In the wake of the flash floods and landslides in various parts of the state, the Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Response Force is conducting a search operation for people who might have been lost around the banks of the Beas River.
The BKTC chairman further said that Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, has also directed that every possible help should be provided to the pilgrims in case the road gets blocked during the rainy season.

A total of 88 people have lost their lives in the state since June 24 as rain continues to hit Himachal, an official statement issued by Himachal Pradesh state disaster management authority said on Wednesday.
