Three people have died and seventeen are reportedly missing after a massive landslide occurred in the Rudraprayag district, officials said on Saturday.
The Uttarakhand State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has rescued all the students who were trapped in the Kasturba Inter College in the Uttarkashi district due to heavy debris, said officials.

In a swift and prompt rescue operation, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) successfully rescued four youths stranded between Garuchatti and Rambada of Rudraprayag district on Wednesday night, said police.
While speaking to ANI, SP Kangra Shalini Agnihotri said, "District police control room received two phone calls yesterday one at around 4 pm and another at 5 pm that four persons are stranded at Bhagsu waterfall and five more at a different location near Naddi."
The matter came to light after a confession from the accused. Following this, a team of police reached Reh Ghat, situated on the bank of the Chambal River, and deployed State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and divers for fishing out the bodies.
Shalini Agnihotri, Superintendent of Police, Kangra, said, "At around 10 pm last night, we rescued around 26 persons in the Kareri Lake area who were stranded due to heavy rain."
"Because of the cyclone, Mandvi and Naliya are declared hotspots. We have made the public aware of the disaster. SDRF team is deployed from Ghanteshwar, Rajkot. The NDRF team has been deployed. The teams would be in direct contact with DySP and SP Vaghela of Naliya police. We will remain
The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) on Thursday while continuing the rescue operation, retrieved a body of a woman, 48 hours after the collapse of the Alaya Apartment building in Lucknow's Hazratganj, said the SDRF on Thursday.
