Maldives Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid has left to receive External Affairs Minister Jaishankar, who is all set to visit the South-Asian island country for the fourth time since assuming office in 2019.
The announcement comes in the wake of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar's visit to the island nation who will be visiting Maldives and Sri Lanka from January 18-20.
According to the statement, Jaishankar will visit to Maldives and Sri Lanka from January 18-20. During his visit to Maldives, Jaishankar would call on President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and will also hold discussions with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid.
