The 'Aastha Special Train' was boarded by a large number of Lord Ram devotees from Jalandhar on Friday. The devotees are headed for Ayodhya Dham to pay their obeisance to Lord Ram at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva flagged off a special train, heading to Ayodhya, from Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station in the presence of BJP MP Harsh Vardhan on Monday.
The first Aastha Special Train carrying the first batch of Ram devotees to Ayodhya left from Secunderabad Railway Station on Monday. 1346 devotees boarded the train. The echoes of 'Jai Sri Ram' chants filled the Secunderabad Railway Station.
"The dream for years has come true as the Ram Mandir has now been constructed. The first train from the Devbhoomi of Himachal Pradesh to Ayodhya Dham has left with groups of Ram devotees," Thakur said.
