The Taxes and Excise Department in Himachal Pradesh conducted a special campaign for checking the long-distance buses during the past ten days after there were complaints that they were causing losses to the exchequer by illegally transporting goods into the state.
The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), along with its subordinate offices, enthusiastically participated in Special Campaign 3.0. The campaign was organised in two phases: the preparatory phase from September 14 to September 30, and the implementation phase from October 2 to October 31.
In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of "Swachh Bharat", the Airports Authority of India observed the Government of India's Special Campaign 3.0 at its airports and establishments from October 2 to October 31.
