For the first time in decades, an election for the Lok Sabha Speaker's post will take place on Wednesday due to the inability of the BJP's ruling NDA government and the Congress-led INDIA opposition to reach to a consensus.
"They are not abiding by the Constitution. As the INDIA bloc is strong right now, we will oppose the wrong...," KL Sharma said while speaking to ANI on the fight between the opposition and the ruling party over the Lok Sabha Speaker post.
As per the sources, the TMC will clarify their stand on the nomination of K Suresh as the Speaker of Lok Sabha by 9 am tomorrow. Notably, the ruling NDA and the opposition INDIA bloc are set to lock horns over the post of Speaker in the Parliament on Wednesday.
The second day of the first Lok Sabha session post-general elections began with the remaining 281 members taking oath as Members of Parliament (MPs) today.

Congress on Tuesday declared that Rahul Gandhi, party's MP from Raebareli will be Leader of the Opposition in the 18th Lok Sabha, ending the 10-year spell of no LoP in the Lower House since 2014.
