As per an 'X' post shared by Indian Air Force, the incident occurred at around 12:15 pm on January 21, following which the aircraft was safely force-landed in an uninhabited area, ensuring that there was no damage to civilian life or property. Both pilots on board are safe.
In a statement, the MND said that both sorties crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered Taiwan's southwestern Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ).
