Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Congress leader Jagadish Shettar on Sunday said the party got a boost with the campaigning of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi for the upcoming state assembly elections.
"Today, the man who changed his party is questioning Congress. Does he even have the morality to accuse Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi?" Bhupesh Baghel said.

Hitting out at former Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai on Sunday said the Congress has fielded a candidate whom central agencies raided for links to funding extremists and is now speaking of sovereignty.
Former Congress party president Sonia Gandhi on Saturday arrived in poll-bound Karnataka's Hubbali to campaign for the party ahead of the May 10 Assembly elections.
"Rahul Gandhi is on bail, Sonia Gandhi is on bail and DK Shivakumar is on bail. Half on bail, half in jail and they talk about corruption", Nadda said.
Speaking to ANI, Union Minister Joshi said, "Earlier, Priyanka Gandhi and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge also came to Karnataka. No matter who comes to the state for the election campaign, BJP will return to power in the state with a full majority."
Karnataka is crucial for Congress as it can mark its revival for the 2024 Lok Sabha election. If BJP is defeated in Karnataka, the party will not be in power in any southern state
"Congress party is trying to divide people of the country on the basis of religion for votes. This is wrong. Congress taking such decisions would negatively impact the nation. So I request the people of Karnataka to reject Congress and teach them a lesson", Kishan Reddy told ANI.
The Prime Minister said that Congress had left Karnataka "at the mercy of terrorists" and added that the Bharatiya Janata Party has "broken the back" of terror and appeasement.
